Handmade by our Seamstresses in Matoso Kenya

We are always looking for ways to give back to the community of Matoso and these ladies make it easy!  Our seamstress co-operative have made numerous crafts over the years and this year they have made beautiful quilted duffel and tote bags.  The bags come in 3 sizes (Small, Med, and Large) and are beautifully made with a variety of inside zipped pockets, outside pockets, and water bottle holders.  They are available for a minimum donation depending on the size of the bag: Small $30, Medium - $40, and Large $50.

In addition, we have a limited number of aprons available again - minimum donation $25

Help us fund education by depositing your empty bottles and cans at the Quadra St, Queens Avenue or Glanford Avenue Return-It Bottle Depots.Simply tell them BEFORE the transaction that you would like to donate the funds to Lalmba Canada's account and all funds will go towards our scholarship program.

For those of you living outside of the Greater Victoria area you may now return your bottles to any Return it Express location and have the credit donated to Lalmba.  Simply go the express kiosk enter 250-896-4272 (Lalmba's phone number) and print a label, put it on the bag and that is it!! No counting or sorting required.  They will count and credit our account!


CASINO NIGHT 2023!!                    

That's right our annual Lalmba Canada Casino Night will once more take place on June 10, 2023 at the Stawberry Vale Community Centre.  Join us for a fun filled night of blackjack, roulette, poker, and wheel of fortune and of course our gigantic silent auction!  More details to follow tickets will be on sale in May.

Tembea Na Mimi (Walk With Me) fundraiser is an adventure of a lifetime, a walking safari across Kenya’s Rift Valley to Lalmba’s project in Matoso, Kenya, on the shores of Lake Victoria.  10 Days - 260KM's all on Foot!!
