Kathy Moore

Hujambo! My name is Kathy Moore and I live in Victoria, BC, Canada. I have been a pharmacy technician for over thirty years and now, am proud to be the Vice President of Lalmba Canada. I have three children, two daughters (one of them who’s joining me on this year’s walk) and one son. I live with my son, who’s 22, my Japanese ballet student, and my dog. I spend my free time walking wherever I can, jogging, doing on-line workouts, and quilting. For the past two years, I have been learning Kiswahili as well. I have walked twice before, in 2019 and 2021, and I am so excited to be hosting Lalmba Canada’s first Tembea Na Mimi 2022!  It’s a true honour. Kenya has captured my heart, with its people and their cultures, its wildlife and its grace. Twende twende!!
