Alison Spilsbury

Nice to meet you! My name is Alison Spilsbury. This year I turn 50 and I wanted to celebrate this milestone by travelling and giving back. Through Lalmba I cannot think of a better way to achieve both. I am very excited and grateful to be participating in Tembea Na Mimi 2022 with this amazing group of people.

I am born and raised in Victoria, have worked with the public sector for over 30 years and am a mom to two adult sons. I was introduced to Lalmba a few years ago and have always been impressed by the work they do. The opportunity to support students to continue their high school education really resonated for me. Education empowers a person and it only takes one person to make a difference in this world.

I have not travelled much, so I am very excited for this opportunity to explore, experience a different culture and meet new friends!

Help students in Matoso get the education they need to change their lives, their families, and their communities.

We accept cheque, e-transfer, and other forms of donations.
