Nikki Sieben

Hi, I’m Nikki. Travel has shaped much of who I am, from wandering through Africa, Australasia, South and Central America in my 20s to spending time in India in my 40s. Those experiences showed me both the beauty of the world and the barriers many kids face in accessing something as fundamental as education.
I’ve always been drawn to causes that create real, community-driven change. I’m a long-time supporter of fair-trade practices and believe that how we choose to spend our money is one of the strongest ways we “vote” for the world we want to live in.
I also love a good challenge, hiking, biking, pushing myself to new places. That’s why I’m joining Lalmba Canada’s Tembea Na Mimi trek: an 11-day journey across Kenya to raise funds for education in Matoso, where Lalmba’s Student Bursary Program helps underprivileged kids go to school and build brighter futures.
This trek brings together everything I care about: adventure, purpose, and the chance to open doors for young people. I’m grateful for any support as we walk toward opportunity. One step, one student, one future at a time.
